Story
I got scammed by a woman named Oleksandra Abrosimova, who ran a classic online romance scam based on fake travel promises. She told me she wanted to visit me and only needed help buying a bus ticket. After insisting she didn’t need anything else, I agreed and paid for the ticket. She sent me photos and even a short video from what looked like a taxi and later a bus, saying she was on her way — but I’m now convinced those were fake or AI-generated. Halfway through the supposed trip, she messaged me asking for an extra $50 for food, and I sent it, thinking it was a small thing to help her out. Later, she said she had arrived in Lviv — and then completely vanished. When I checked with FlixBus, they confirmed she checked in at Kyiv for the first part of the trip but never boarded the bus to Budapest. She didn’t get a huge amount of money from me, but it’s clear she’s done this before and probably keeps doing it with other people. The whole thing followed a very calculated pattern, and there’s no doubt in my mind that Oleksandra Abrosimova should be on the scammer blacklist.
