Blacklist

    Karina Lubashevska

  • Nationality: Ukraine
  • Where Did You Meet?: International Cupid. https://www.internationalcupid.com/

Story

She was first found on the International Cupid website. After a few video calls, it seemed clear the woman in the photos on Telegram was the same person—so everything looked legitimate at first. But some things she said didn’t quite add up. For instance, she mentioned needing to travel to Kyiv to have an interview at the man’s country’s embassy in order to get a tourist visa. The problem? That particular country doesn’t handle tourist visas through embassy interviews—it’s all processed through their government back home. When this was brought up, she changed the story, saying it was actually just a “representative” from the embassy she needed to meet.

Later, another red flag appeared: she stopped messaging completely after a few days of not receiving any money. Out of curiosity, a quick search on International Cupid showed that she now had multiple profiles—up to eight—with each one saying she lived in a different city in Ukraine.
