Story

I want to report a woman who used the name Yuliia Tretiak. She claimed to be from Zhytomyr, Ukraine and said she worked for a logistics company called Hort Trans or Hort Transport. We communicated through WhatsApp and Telegram. One of the Telegram contacts connected with this case was @Daria_6677. At the beginning, she acted very romantic and serious. She often called me “my love,” said she missed me, wanted to see me, and talked about our future together. The emotional part developed very quickly, and it made the situation feel like a real relationship. She often mentioned the war in Ukraine, bad internet, bombardments in Kyiv, problems with calls, and issues with SIM cards. These explanations were used whenever communication was poor or when normal verification was difficult. Later, she started talking about meeting in Warsaw, Poland. She said it would be safer and easier to meet there, and that she could arrange visa-related matters outside Ukraine because consular services were limited. After that, the story moved toward possible travel to the United Kingdom. The money request was presented as travel expenses. She said she needed a visa, biometric passport, documents from local authorities, flight tickets, medical insurance, and documents for her cat, including vaccinations and a pet passport. The total amount she mentioned was around 47,000 UAH. She also said she would check whether she could receive an international bank transfer. This did not look like a normal travel plan to me. The request was not made as a simple emergency, but as many small expenses connected to travel, documents, insurance, and her cat. It felt like I was being pushed to pay so the relationship could continue and we could finally meet. There were several warning signs: fast romantic pressure, excuses about bad communication, changing contact details, the plan to meet in Poland, the later idea of going to the UK, and the request for money for documents, tickets, insurance, and pet paperwork. After checking the information, I found serious inconsistencies. The claimed Ukrainian identity did not match the verification results, and the case appeared to be connected with a wider scam pattern rather than a real Ukrainian woman preparing to travel. I am reporting this case to warn other men. Do not send money for visas, passports, tickets, insurance, pet documents, border problems, or travel plans to someone you met online without independent verification. Save all chats, phone numbers, usernames, photos, documents, and payment details if you are dealing with a similar profile.
